To renew this scholarship, students must earn 24 credits each academic year, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and meet the criteria for up to eight semesters.

#2 University of Michigan Dearborn Scholars Award:

For students with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.99, the Dearborn Scholars Award provides 4,000 per year(4,000 per year(16,000 over four years). 

#3 University of Michigan Gateway Award:

Similarly, the Distinction Scholarship awards 3,000 annually ( 3,000annually (12,000 over four years) to students with a GPA between 3.00 and 3.24. 

#4 University of Michigan Gateway Award: 

Lastly, the Dearborn Gateway Award offers 2,000 per year( 2,000 per year (8,000 over four years) to students with a GPA between 2.50 and 2.99. All merit-based scholarships share the same renewal criteria, ensuring students stay on track academically.

Need-Based Scholarships

#1 Go Blue Guarantee

The University of Michigan-Dearborn also provides need-based scholarships to ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of a world-class education. The Go Blue Guarantee is a standout program that covers the full cost of tuition and fees at the in-state rate for eligible students. To qualify, first-year undergraduates must have a 3.5 GPA or higher, a family income of 125,000 or less,and assets below 125,000 or less,and assets below 125,000. #1 Undergraduate Non-Resident Scholarship

This scholarship is tailored for incoming non-resident students and is awarded based on academic achievement. The Undergraduate Non-Resident Scholarship offers four tiers of awards:

12,500 annually (50,000 over four years): For students with a 4.0 GPA or higher.

10,000 annually (10,000 annually (40,000 over four years): For students with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99.

7,500 annually (7,500 annually (30,000 over four years): For students with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.
